The best way to escape from the stress of the routine of city life is to get off the beaten path. When you’re away from the hustle and bustle you can slow down, unplug and clear your mind. Then you can recharge your body and your mind. Just 25 minutes from the Wichita airport you can find this escape where the silence and the solitude of nature have a rejuvenating factor that’s hard to come by. When you’re up in the trees, it takes on a whole new dimension.
You might find that your favorite place here at the TreeLodge is sitting by the water or by the fire or just hanging out on the deck watching the sunrise or the sunset. Yes, one of Kansas' secrets is the sunrises and the sunsets. Or it could be on one of the walking trails that allows you to clear your mind and recharge. Another favorite is watching the cows walk by or hearing the frogs sing at night. And, oh, let’s not forget how bright the stars are when you’re away from the city lights. No matter what turns out to be your favorite, the one thing that will happen is you’ll give yourself a chance to recharge and reset.

As a kid, you may have dreamed of having a treehouse, of sleeping up in the trees… this is a bucket list item for many. It is a dream that many would never have the opportunity to fulfill but here at Diamond Springs Ranch that can become a reality and you can do it in a first rate fashion. This, for sure, is not a "roughing it" treehouse. Whether you wanna cook out on the grill, take a hot shower, or have heating and air-conditioning at your fingertips this is lodge living in the trees. We have brought the city luxury into the trees of Kansas. There is magic that happens at the end of the dirt road and you’ll find out why off the beaten path is the very best way home.

If you are not familiar with the sounds of nature, you might wonder what you are hearing when you are sitting on the deck after dark.
- You may hear the yip-yipping of coyotes. (Don't worry! They will be close, but they are not dangerous to you.)
- You may hear the gentle lowing of our friendly cattle. They are curious about the treehouse & its guests! They often come by to see what's going on.
- You may hear the meows of our friendly cats. One of them, especially, likes to hang out by the treehouse.
- You may hear the steady croaking of our local bullfrogs. They enjoy singing at dusk & often into the night.
- You may hear the high pitched buzzing/singing of the cicadas (also known locally as locusts)
